How to Get Your Products Featured in an Organic Carousel
Here are some steps you can take to help give your content a better chance of being featured in an organic carousel:
- Ensure your content is part of a list or collection relevant to common search queries.
- Use clear, descriptive titles and high-quality images for each item in your list to catch the user's eye.
- Organize your content with clear, logical structuring to help search engines understand and feature it in a carousel format.
- Apply SEO best practices to each item in your collection to improve their search visibility.
How Semrush Collects Data About Organic Carousel SERP Features
- When we scan a keyword’s SERP, we identify whether or not an organic carousel is present anywhere on the results page.
- If an organic carousel is present on the results page, but the domain you entered doesn’t appear for that organic carousel, its icon will appear gray in the SERP Features column.
- If the queried domain appears in the organic carousel, you’ll see a stand-alone blue icon listed in the Positions column. This will allow you to see estimated traffic coming from the SERP feature. You’ll also see another row in the same table with the URL’s organic ranking and estimated traffic.
